Our clients had a small, crowded feeling bathroom. They wanted a welcoming, usable space that felt larger, lighter and more open. Moving walls wasn’t an option—what could they do without changing the footprint? We helped the clients realize a big change in feel and function while keeping their current layout. Large-format tile on the floor and shower-surround was added to create continuity. Two niches provided owners their own storage space, while a vanity, medicine cabinet and over-toilet unit provided extra storage and more surface area. Simple touches like robe hooks enhanced usability and comfort. This formerly unwelcoming bathroom is proof—a larger-feeling, brighter and more functional bathroom can be achieved within a small footprint.
